Most of what you post will be forgotten before your reader finishes their coffee.
That's the reality. Attention is cheap. Memory is expensive.
So how do you create content that actually sticks?
The memory test comes down to three things:
Emotion. People remember how content made them feel long after they forget what it said. Surprise them. Make them laugh. Make them think "finally, someone said it."
Simplicity. One core idea, stated boldly. If your reader can't repeat your point back in one sentence, it's too complex to remember.
Repetition. Say your key idea more than once, in more than one way. The hook, the body, and the close should all reinforce the same message.
Here's a quick filter before you post:
→ "If someone sees this for 4 seconds and scrolls, what's the one thing they'll take with them?"
If you can't answer that, simplify until you can.
Forgettable content is wasted content. Make it stick.
And that’s the Content Minute.
P.S. I’m doing a free 60-min workshop for founders tomorrow - last chance to register! You'll learn how to ideate, research, and create content in 30 minutes a day that helps you raise money, acquire customers, and hire better people. Grab your seat for free.
