You probably have a content calendar. Topics to cover. Themes to hit.

But do you have a list of things you will never post?

A "no" list does more for your positioning than a "yes" list ever could.

Here's why it works:

→ Saying no creates contrast

→ Contrast creates memorability

→ Memorability creates trust

Some examples to spark ideas:

  1. "I will never post motivational fluff without a tactical takeaway"

  2. "I will never talk badly on competitors by name"

  3. "I will never post trending topics outside my lane"

  4. "I will never use engagement bait that I'd be embarrassed to defend"

The clearer your "no" list, the sharper your brand becomes.

People remember what you refuse to do as much as what you choose to do.

Build yours this week. Write down 5 things. Refer back to it when you're tempted to chase reach over reputation.

And that’s the Content Minute.

P.S. I’m doing a free 60-min workshop for founders on Jan 14. You'll learn how to ideate, research, and create content in 30 minutes a day that helps you raise money, acquire customers, and hire better people. Grab your seat for free.

Two ways I can help:

Pagetear → Copywriting studio for your SaaS

Founder Positioning → Personal brand sprint to become a thought leader
