You can be the smartest person in your space and still get outcompeted by someone with half your knowledge.
Because people buy from people they trust. Expertise is table stakes. Trust is the tiebreaker.
Here's how trust gets built through content:
Share your process, including the messy parts. Polished content signals "expert." Honest content signals "human."
Have opinions and stand by them. Wishy-washy takes make you forgettable. Strong stances make you memorable (even to people who disagree).
Respond like a real person. Reply to comments. Answer DMs. Show up in the conversation, not above it.
Admit when you're wrong or learning. Credibility grows when you're honest about the edges of your knowledge.
The creator who shares their real thinking beats the creator who performs expertise. Every time.
You're already qualified. Now let them trust you.
And that’s the Content Minute.
P.S. I’m doing a free 60-min workshop for founders on Jan 14. You'll learn how to ideate, research, and create content in 30 minutes a day that helps you raise money, acquire customers, and hire better people. Grab your seat for free.
